Projects I undertake intend to investigate human beings relationships with nature.
Navigating between jewelry, ceramics, film photography and carib basketry, I am interested in documenting and questioning visions of preciousness, territory, and ways in which female bodies relate to natural spaces.
My practice is informed by processes drawn from science and ancestral crafts, and aspire to bring further understanding of what’s underneath our perceptions of the natural world and how it affects the ways in which we interacted with it.
I also engage in art and science education projects, producing tailor-made creative workshops designed to build and share scientific, artistic and cultural knowledge.
